It's not often you come
across a gem. Here in the UK we usually get charged a fee - a
big fat extortionate fee for everything we get, buy, inherit,
use, breathe (oops that's next year), drink, excrete... well you
get the picture.
But yes I declare - this

of charge or tax whatsoever - and unlike companies there's no
charge for reading it either.

Well what have we here. An ex Government operated monopoly that is
in the throws of losing the last of it's powers in March 2001 - the
loss of the cable and space in the exchanges to other telephone
companies.
There are going to be some scary things happening around the
telecomms markets - especially if you're British Telecom.
An associated company has had first hand experience with BT and we
can report that it was not a pretty scene - a company that sold a
service they could not provide, a company that charged for a service
that did not work, a company that tries to tie you in to a contract
then stops you selling in to the same marketplace, a company - well
