It's been a bad time for Tony (Blair Witch)
Blair of late - we suppose that it
would be the same for all Prime
Ministers at this time so we can't understand
why Tony looks so sad. Especially on the
money they pay him for the results he achieves.
It can't be the Fuel crisis, he's changed the
law to stop all of that going on, it can't be his family, he's
chalked up another Family Allowance
payment, what can it be... I know - he's just
seen another poll put him second in the race for
his new pay rise - it was due sometime in 2001- Now in 2006 he's had many
so what's bothering him - it MUST be something
he's swallowed?
But seriously, the Government is going through
the mill of late - it just seems that everything
they do is ill timed or wrong - take the lead on
the Euro that Mr Blair has tried to justify -
the Euro is just another lame duck in the water
AND the worlds leading currency (the US$)
remains the currency of choice in world trade.
He still claims that Euro
conversion will be good for the United Kingdom.
It's hard to understand this logic, Europe has
been a dead duck for a long time, but to write
off the Pound so that some German geek can rule
Europe in a manner that befits them is not a
reasonable way to handle it. The Euro will
undoubtedly go down in history as the second
most lame duck this century, seconded only of
course by the Dome. I think Tony had a
hand in that too.
Clearly Tony has done some
things right, but it seems that he's done more
things wrong... not the best strategy to get in
to power for a third/fourth time for that
even bigger pay rise.
Writing off the Pound will be a big mistake,
Tony claims that exports suffer, that companies
can't compete etc etc, but ask Sony - based in
the UK - they will tell you otherwise - maybe
Tony is right and Sony is wrong, after all, Sony
is only a world leading company and Tony, well,
he's Tony - he still thinks the Euro is a good
idea.....
And what of the European
Constitution? A document written to drain all
the power from member countries and transfer it
to Brussels. I used to think that those
Europeans (the Germans) lost the war? How come
they got rebuilt AND are taking the lead in
running Europe?
Tony's time as the President
(oops) in Europe didn't really achieve anything,
anything other than giving our hard earned
allowances which Maggie won, back to the
Europeans? and Tony appears to even be sorry
about not giving the money back for so long -
That's why he's frowning.
Still, it's not HIS money is it? it's ours!
That makes us ALL poorer again
Tony. Up go the personal and VAT Taxes and Council Tax to
compensate. It's a treadmill that none of us can
get off! Tony doesn't mind anyway - he'll just
sit on a few company 'boards' and use his (good)
name as a trophy to be banded about by greedy
bastards unlimited.
Thank god he is going to go to
pasture soon.
